Some might argue chemistry. Others think compatibility, and some say both.

The concept of compatibility has to do with being able to exist and perform in ways that is harmonious to others while still being yourself. The healthy dynamic of a compatible couple doesn't mean that they agree on everything or one person submits to the other, but simply that even if there is a conflict, it doesn't overshadows their bond or flow. This concept can be broken down in four types:

1. Physical

It is important that underneath the congenial connection, that there is some sense of chemistry between each other. Attraction is one of the main motivations to maintain interest in someone that you admire. Usually if you are not that attracted to the person even if you like them, eventually you loose the chemistry.

2. Emotional

Of course you can't rely too much on the physical without a connection. This doesn't mean you can't be only physical with someone, but as far as overall compatibility, being able to connect with someone on a deeper level makes a big difference in your chemistry. Vulnerability can be scary because it's risky. Not only are you allowing someone in, you are also risk feeling hurt, but if compatible with someone it can create trust.

3. Intellectual

If there is a connection, the mental pretty much follows. Stimulation can go a long way especially if that is the one a person tends to feel close to someone. So much so that some people can't get feel any attraction or chemistry from someone if they are not stimulated intellectually.

4. Eternal

Within connecting with someone, you want to be able to bond with someone where you have mutual values. This usually applies to people who want more than just the surface, but a more fulfilling situation where there is a foundation of friendship that is full of trust and morals.

Wanting compatibility, chemistry or both depends on what you want for yourself. A person that only wants something physical or doesn't require so much mental energy will probably find more importance in chemistry VS a person what want a deeper connection. Compatibility is still necessary and applies to anyone with mutual intentions.

Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5597676807366114815.post-49248313370567898562021-10-12T07:00:00.003-04:002021-10-12T07:00:55.961-04:00Legality VS Morality

When it comes to ethics, which is more reasonable law or your moral compass. That can be a debate worth thinking about.

Certain situations that we are put into depends mostly on our own perspective of things. With legality the definition is simply broken down to define as law which means controlled by government. Our behaviors are managed by the standards of right and wrong regardless of what we believe. Therefore an individual can get caught up in a situation where they have legal obligations to someone that goes against how they feel only because they think they are doing right by either law or a mutaul agreement. This can be a common conflict when it comes to either property or a domestic partnership/environment.

Morality is based off of conscience perceptions of right vs wrong. This means that we use our own judgement to determine the right or wrong of something to conduct personal consequences to control behavior. This concept can vary from circumstance to circustance. For example if you give a homeless person money, that means you loose your money, but morally if felt right in that moment because you did a good gesture. Whereas if someone stole money from you, you will be maad at first, but eventually forgive the individual becuse you felt like they needed the money more than you did. Because our moral compass tends to get tested from time to time we can often find ourselves questioning our better judgement.

So which is more ethical? It can be determined when measuring out the similarities and differences between the two. Some things that laws and morals have in common are social organiztion and cohension. Both can be agreeable due to consequences and reprocussions matching the circumstance. Where they differ is in category. The concept of legality applies to everyone whereas morality is different from person to person. So then you could problably question your ethics based on a situation was handled vs how it handled others socially. Either way it remains a debate.
Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5597676807366114815.post-29531479344526337772021-08-28T05:08:00.004-04:002021-08-28T05:09:51.518-04:00New Music-Patrick Breeding: All NightUnknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5597676807366114815.post-86097612331761704312020-02-21T00:51:00.001-05:002020-02-21T00:51:02.615-05:00Women Shouldn't Comment On The Bodies Of Men

Passive Aggressive Behavior

Imagine making a joke. Everyone starts laughing. You feel good because you made everyone else feel good. Only one person gets hurt, but the problem is never addressed. How do you then solve this issue if there were no harm.

When it comes to a person being passive aggressive, they are usually the person that is hurt is the previous example. Passive aggressive behaviors and aggressive behavior tend to conflict each other in this way because of lack of communication. By communication, it's not only verbal, but also nonverbal. Both are equally as important and effective enough to really understand your vibe and interaction with someone especially when it comes to speaking up.

So when do you speak up? The best time...right away, but still be aware of the timing. Sometimes the level of confrontation stems from tone and intentions. For some, when their emotions are recognized, they immediately express it without any filter, which then cause a conflict with the other person because they are unaware of the problem. In that moment the person without the filter demands their needs to be met. This is an example of the aggressor.

The aggressor tends to be straight forward, bold, and very upfront when it comes to confrontation. Even if their intentions isn't to hurt, their execution of resolving conflict can be perceived as either disrespectful or concerning. An aggressor would feel like speaking up right away would be effective because they feel that if the problem can be solved now, it won't be an issue in the future. This can cause the other person to be helpless and challenged. This other person in the conflict is an example of the passive aggressor.

Passive aggressive individuals have the hardest time speaking up. They don't say anything right away because they are more concerned about timing of issue and another person's feelings. The irony is most people that identify as the aggressor find this offensive because the level of omitted information can viewed as lying or the aggressor doesn't feel important enough to receive uncomfortable information. Most passive aggressive people have a huge fear of conflict and confrontation because they already feel beaten by the situation so they do whatever they can to avoid it at all cost instead of being assertive.

How does one become assertive in the first place? It boils down to compromising. There has to be a sense of balance that even an extreme aggressive person and an extreme passive aggressive person can work together on. In order to do that, they have to focus on healthy conflict resolutions and not focus on attacking the person. Of course it depends on the role you play in that person's life and the vibe you have with them. How you deal with an issue with a stranger is going to be different than dealing with it with a family or friend.

What aggressive and passive aggressive people don't realize is that they have one thing in common with each other: the feeling of lack of power. Aggressor project emotions because they feel powerless while passive aggressor already feel powerless because they feel attacked. On the positive side, both people can gain a sense of power just by developing healthy communication skills and set boundaries that helps find who they can be compatible with. Anybody can social, but it takes confronting yourself in order to be assertive with others.

With the fall season approaching gracefully, mindsets seem to be in progress at the same pace.

Women Of More Magazine, touched on the concept of people especially women, redefining the way they think about their life, their peers, and themselves. A lovely panel of women mentioned the foundation of Christ as being the tour guide to their journey. They continued to express the importance of finding the determination within yourself as well as prayer to really redirect your thinking and find positivity in knowing your worth.

In order to finding self-worth, the ladies first had to identify why women have a negative mindset to begin with. It stems from competitiveness. Society tends to put pressure on women to be an look a certain way to the point where some parents subconsciously teach young girls these unwritten rules. With these unwritten rules, because they are exactly that (unwritten), one would assume that these rules are opinionated and not facts. The problem is some women train their mindset into thinking these opinions are facts and then instill them into their daughters.

With women being such naturally emotional creatures, seasons in our lives tend to test how much we let our feelings overshadow circumstances. That's because emotions let us know what our boundaries and allows us to challenge our mindsets. An example could be a young child experiencing a traumatizing event where an adult inflict pain or abuse and the child is either afraid to speak up or nobody is willing to listen because they figure "you are just a child." That level of fear can cause so much trauma left not dealt with and the person struggling to heal.

Another thing the women touched on was transparency. This discussion involved the understanding of respect. All of this tied into dealing with trauma as well as respecting others opinions. The women stressed the importance of self forgiveness because this type of forgiveness is what to need in order to know your worth. It definitely open the eyes of others because the talk expose the fact that so many people of all ages don't know who they are yet due to settling and compare themselves to others. Instead they advised that if you forgive who you were in the past, you are let others know "I used to be this, BUT, now I am this," proudly.

Women Of More ending the discussion by advising women not to settle and that we can be more than what you are now.

So many women ask, "What does it mean to be a women?," when the answer is simply in their own question.

Editor-in-chief of Women Of More magazine, Michelle Washington, held a couple events for her summer series bringing women together that are either contributors or fans of the magazine explaining the definition of women and the journey towards it. Some of the contributors included Dr. Cherita Weatherspoon and Tynetta T. Brown. The in-depth discussion became not only educational, but a tea-spilling chat.

When the topic of women was brought up, the "Women of More" didn't hesitate to mention the concept of "having it all." For a lot of women that means a husband, two kids, a cat , a dog, and a big house. For some women it could mean having a career while being single. For other it means being a housewife. Believe it or not, they feel all of those lifestyles are correct. It's because "having it all" starts with the women herself. "Having it all can be what all means to you," said Weatherspoon. The ladies end the conversation on a self-love note explaining that women tend to detach from what's inside because we forget about our worth. Therefore we should allow the challenges of our individuality build our confidence.

When the topic of relationships and interactions came up, Certified Agent and contributor, Waynna Dobson, had a bright perspective on how the role of the men in your family play a part in your view of men and how to be treated. What stood out was the fact that the attraction for a "bad boy" is a subconscious desire more so than the direct correlation between daddy issues and non daddy issues.

She explained that while being raised by her grandparents, even though her grandfather was an excellent example of a man, she still gravitated towards the bad boy type of guy. It point out the concept of women needing that protection and security that women tend to think only the bad boy can provide. Some of it stems from swag and the way some men handle certain situations that can be consider a turn on for some women. Examples included the tone of an argument, how a guy physically fights, and his way with words and how he speaks to a women. This conversations definitely added on to the overall message of self-love starting with the women first and then having everything else fall into play.

Women of More is doing whatever they can to spread the love to hopefully reach out to more women to have more self-love.

Best known for her role as "Tanya Sloan, the yellow Zeo and Turbo Ranger," Nakia Burrise continues to set a path for aspiring actors/actresses inspired by her talents.

Burrise has been acting since she was a child when she would perform skits for friends and family inspired by "The Carol Burnett Show." Her skills later payed off once she auditioned to become the third yellow ranger for the #1 running hit 90's Fox Kids show "Power Rangers Zeo." While majoring in Theater at UCLA, her manager was able to submit her into the role for both Zeo and Turbo as well as starred in "Power Rangers Turbo" movie.

Even though she didn't know much about the show, Burrise still remembers her first time being on set where she says "I was in awe and so very grateful to God for the opportunity." Being able to form great friendships with her cast mates whom she is still close with 20 years later, made more comfortable to play the role. That comfort allowed her to have enough confidence to venture out to other acting opportunities on TV shows and movies once her time on "Power Rangers" ended. Still to this day she attends different conventions for the support of the show where she answer fan questions and share moments from the show with her cast mates, which she calls family.
