Baby Pics Revealed!

I'm sure most of you were waiting for the day that socialite, Amber Rose and singer, Tamar Braxton were going to reveal their little pride and joys to the world!

Both ladies revealed their sons on various websites including bossip.com and necolebitchie.com. Braxton's son Logan was born just a month and a half ago and you can already see that little man was ready for the cameras. As you know Tamar is also one of the hosts of the brand new show "The Real" where fellow co-host, Tamera Mowry-Housley, acknowledge her banging post-baby body. When Housley asked about her secret to the weight loss, Braxton replied "I'm wearing six spandex" implying that she didn't really lose the weight. She still looked great!
Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa had their son, Sebastian, back in February. The socialite got her shape back as well and is more happier than ever. Just earlier this month the news broke out that the two also got married under the Justice Of The Peace and is said to have a ceremony in the fall. I Know these two women are great moms and have such adorable sons!

Congrats again to both ladies and great pics. Hope to see more.

College Girls And Casual "Hook-Ups"

As you most of you might know the show, "The Real Talk Show" had premiered about two weeks ago and the topics are just keep getting juicier.

The ladies at the table got onto the discussion on girls hooking up in college in which singer, Adrienne Bailon, read in the New York Times. She explains in the clip about the reactions that the public has about this topic. This goes back to my posts that I had written a long time ago about double standards and what is considered a hook up and when it comes to college there is nothing but controversy.
College is suppose to be a time to explore and getting to know not only others but yourself. It is such a social environment so hooking up is expected. Depending on how you define hooking up, it always leads to intimacy. Now of course when a guy is just hooking up with a lot of girls, he's pretty much marking his territory on the campus, with girls it is a totally different type of marking.
Even if a girl makes it clear that she doesn't want a relationship she still has more risk just because she is a female. "The Real Talk Show" make some good points on their show and I will be posting more of their videos on here so stay tune.

In the meantime enjoy the clip above.

Technology-Could We Live Without It Today?

I was talking with someone not too long ago and we were discussing about what exactly could we go a day without as far as technology!

As you all know I talk about technology on this site multiple times, not to just get on your nerves, but that is what our world revolves around. Media is our main source for anytime of information. People don't even talk much anymore because everything is done for you online. If you have a question about something what would someone say..."Just google it!" If you want to tell someone something important what would they say...."Just text it to me!" If you are trying to get your advisor at school to pay attention to what you are saying what would they say....."Just email me!" Everything is said and done with the power of electricity.

So what would you be able to live without?

Most people can't live without their cell phone because that might be their only way to contact people. It's also like a mini computer because everything that you need is on it at your service. You can check emails, google things, text and call people right there in your hands. So loosing it would be a disaster. Others might say they can't live without their computer/laptop. At least if they loose their cell phone they have the bigger version of it which is a PC. This is where people can go on any social networking sites that they have as well as video chatting. Loosing this would be more of a killer because it's more expensive.
As far as what social networking sites people can live without....some might not live without twitter, others it could be Facebook, and some might be instagram. This is how people connect as well as email each other which is why it's called social networking. If all of these sites as well as blogs were deleted, people would feel lost.
Same reactions would definitely apply to ipads and ipods because those are mini computers that hold our sources of entertainment. Entertainment is so broad and so international, technology pretty much enhances the variety of the entertainment that we have today. It's what keeps society stimulated and more social because we have so many resources to support the movement of it.

So to answer the question above....that's right, we probably CAN'T live without not even one type of technology or gadget. The consumption is too ridiculous to even try to get used to.

Make sure you comment on what you can or cannot live without or your experience on going a day without some form of technology.

The Forehead Kiss Myth

You probably wouldn't think that something as simple as a kiss on the forehead would have so many different theories on what it means.

People often say that a forehead kiss means that, that person really cares about you. Others say it means they like you, but are afraid to kiss on the lips because it's more emotional. Some might also say it leads to other things. If anyone has seen the movie, "The Best Man," that stars actors Taye Diggs and Morris Chestnut, you'd probably remember the scene when they guys were talking about the forehead kiss. In the clip, Morris Chestnut's character explained that it means a girl is "ready." I'm sure by looking at the quotations you know what I'm talking about. Has this been proven to be true? Maybe because it depends on how the girl feels about the guy as well as how everyone else feels about their partner.
The forehead kiss probably don't have as much of reason behind it just like anything else that is intimate. It's just another cute gesture that couples do either when they are in love, going through hardship, or just showing your crush that you like them. For most women it is so sentimental that it can make someone want to cuddle because it's so innocent. Even in movies women get so heartfelt over seeing a couple forehead kiss especially if one is crying. Maybe there is a myth to it, maybe there isn't.

The Marriage-Kids Stigma

As I have mentioned before on many of my posts, this society is so stuck on the All-American dream of being married by 25, having 2.5 kids, and a house with a white picket fence, which we all know is unrealistic.

With single mothers being so common in this day in age, compared to 30 or 40 years ago, people tend to question why the rate is so high and why people that are co-parents don't just get married. It's most questioned amongst women because they gossip to each other and always criticize a couple that might have multiple kids but no ring. Y'all know those conversations, "They have been together 10 years and have three kids, why don't they just go down the alter already!" or "Why would she proudly walk around with a big belly and didn't even experience a wedding at all!" People talk about it all the time, but what exactly is the root of the issue?
There are many answers to that question, they are not ready, or what's the point. What people need to understand with situations like this marriage and children are two different things. Both situations are things that you have to be ready for. Neither one should be rushed. I understand that when a couple has kids out of wedlock the kids might be called "bastards" but that is still no excuse to call them that because again they probably were ready to be parents but not ready to be married. There are people that don't believe in marriage at all, they just want to live their life either alone or with someone they are compatible to and there is nothing wrong with that.

Some people just want to be parents. They feel no need to get married either because they go by that saying "Why fix it if it's not broken," or they have been married in the past and don't want to waste their time going through it again. Most of the criticism comes from expectations and like I said it my post about expectations, you have to be reasonable about it. It's up to the couple on what they want out of their relationship. The only concern that some people might have is the fact that the kids will question the parents about their status. All a parent can really do simply explain what a relationship means to them whether they say "I'm just with someone I love" or "You don't need to get married to be a family." It's all in how you view your situation.

This marriage-kids stigma has been such a debatable topic for a long time because people don't understand why things can't be done the traditional way. So many people have been to seminars discussing this to resolve the controversy but at the end of the day, it's the individuals choice. Yes, it's nice to see a couple get married and then have children but remember that is not everyone's priority. Marriage is not for everyone, relationships are not for everyone, and kids are definitely not for everyone either. Just know your priorities.

How Cute Was This!

Jay-z know he loves him some Bey!

Last night at Beyonce's "Mrs Carter Tour," Jay-z was nice enough to decide to surprise Beyonce during her performance. She was in Philly when she in the middle of her song, "Halo" when Jay-z shows up to give her a kiss on stage. He actually took time out of his "Legends Of The Summer," that he is doing with Justin Timberlake just to show love to his lovely wife, how sweet!
I mean Jay-z is quite a man. He seems so invested within his family to make them happy. It's nice to see couple care about each other that much to keep throwing surprises at each other especially when the work into the type of industry they are involved in. IT goes to show you that love does exist and we just have to be patient and let things happen naturally. That one person you are compatible with will come into your life.

The video above is a little bit hard to see but enjoy it while you can!

A Mini Look At The New TLC Biopic

Around last year it was announce on various sites including necolebitchie.com that TLC was coming out with a biopic.

Fans of TLC around the world will get a good look at the tremendous journey of these top-chart selling ladies. The girls portraying them are Drew Sidora (as T-boz), KeKe Palmer (as Chilli), and Lil Mama (as Left Eye). The film is going to be aired on VH1 in October of this year. I must say it's interesting how much the girls resemble TLC. There are some pictures where you almost can't tell the difference. The biopic is going to show how the girls interacted on tour, what it was like to shoot the music videos as well as how they bonded as friends when they weren't singing. Below is an interview that KeKe Palmer did with hiphollywood.com:

Turning Negatives Into Positives

Now even though Willow Smith had told all the ladies to whip their hair back and forth but maybe Beyonce took the song too seriously lol!

The talented diva did a show in Montreal last night for her Mrs. Carter tour. Her weave accidentally got caught into the fan as she was dancing. Of course she is very experienced at being professional and continued on with her performance. A bodyguard came by and helped her get her hair out in the middle of the performance. Now the 31-year-old puts her incident to words as she wrote down what happened in song form.

Here are some of the lyrics:

Gravity can’t begiiiiiin
to pull me out of the fan again.
I felt my hair was yankiiiiiin
From the fan that’s always hatiiiiin
Looks like another hit from Mrs. Carter!

New Baby On Board!

You already know who I am talking about, the Duchess and Duke of England welcomes a brand new addition to the kingdom.

Prince William and Katherine "Kate" Middleton welcome a bouncing, healthy baby boy. The world was patiently waiting for the royal child to arrive when it was announced this morning that Kate went into labor. Then at around 4:24 pm in London times she gave birth. Two placed an easel with a document sitting on it to announce the birth outside of the palace where Kate was admitted. The new son is set to be third in line to become king within the family, "I couldn't be happier," said Prince William.
No names or pictures have been revealed yet but I'm sure that will be leaked pretty soon as well it's just great to know he's healthy. He weighed in at eight pounds and six ounces. The Royal Household explained to NY Daily News about the amount of mayhem outside of the palace when learning of the birth. So many cameras and people were waiting for first looks at the new royal baby. The news was suppose to start off with the document on the easel but realized it wasn't needed.

Congrats to Prince William and Kate Middleton!

Unnecessary Chaos

As you all know the media tends to always blow things out of proportion whether the situation is true or not, but for one thing Chris Brown and Drake don't have to worry about much either.

Power 105.1 as well as bossip.com both reported that both stars don't have to deal with any lawsuit against them for their alleged brawl at the Greenhouse nightclub in NYC last year. The press kept saying the fight was over Rihanna just because Drake showed up when Brown was already there. Both stars' entourages got involved and that's when sparks flew. The two stars were later escorted out of the club when a customer notified about a bottle being tossed in the air leading people to believe that it was either Drake or Brown.
This afternoon it was reported that the lawsuit was going to be $16 million but both stars do not have  to pay for it so good for them. Drake even defended Chris Brown by saying that the situation was not his problem especially with being that it was the entourage that caused the misinterpretation. This goes to show how much the media twist around an entertainer's reputation and making situations bigger than what it is. Who knows what really happened that night even if it was caught on tape because at one point someone was going to sell it. Luckily this can be put to rest.

Trayvon Martin's Dad's Heartfelt Guilt

I swear this situation with Trayvon Martin just breaks my heart everytime I think about.

Trayvon's loving parents went on Nancy Grace last week discussing more about the trial and his dad, Tracy Martin, came out and said he felt guilty about the whole thing and blamed himself for his death. He opened up to Nancy about a situation that happened at a park when Trayvon was nine. He said that Trayvon saved his life and felt upset that he didn't return the favor that night his son went out to go get skittles.

I don't feel that his dad or even his mom should blame themselves. Nobody expected or wanted him to die that night. You always want to feel positivity and trust when you send your kids out to do something especially in broad daylight but even then you don't know what's going on out there. This family is very strong and intelligent people for not giving up on their son in his fight for justice. If anything both Tracy and Sybrina are lucky enough to have a so many supporters (including myself) that are here with them fighting for our peace. Karma is definitely real. Check out the video above on his interesting story.

Who You Trying To Change!

For some people, having potential might bring on consideration in the hopes that you become what they want, but then things get carried away.

Everyone has some type of standards when it comes to finding someone that you want to be compatible with. There are certain that you are like well they do this but I'll look past it and there are others things that you just can't completely tolerate so then you feel like you have to take matters into your own hands. Fixing someone or shaping them into what you want to become is such a common issue in any relationship. It is such a frustrating task for both the changer and the changee. The changer wants the changee to do and be whatever the changer wants them to be or say and the changee just kicks and screams (maybe not literally) but wants to put an end to the situation.

So why do people want to mold someone instead of accepting the person for who they are?

Well it goes back to my posts about control issues and as well as standards or maybe even bad boys, where I mentioned about wanting control. Usually the girl always wants to change guys into what they want them to be whereas most guys just be with the girl they want to be with. Some people just have really controlling ways that causes them to be afraid to let go. They feel like if they don't tell anyone what to do then they loose their power when it shouldn't be about power it's about working as a team. Often times it's because they are so highly attracted to that person that they want to keep the person as long as they could, but the person doesn't measure up to the standards that matters the changer the most so then they have this idea that they hope things will change over time or they will be the inspiration to them changer and as we know 90% of the time it doesn't work.

Even if the person does change sometimes the pace of the change causes problems because the changer wants things done at a certain time which can be a control tactic. Everybody wants what they want but sometimes it's not going to happen when we want it so therefore it brings on frustration because it's almost like we are missing out. Sometimes patience has to be the answer to most of our problems because if we rush change it may not come out the way we want them. People should know that changing a person isn't going to solve anything because you wouldn't want anyone to change you. A person is not going to meet up to every single standard you have, but they could have more good than they have bad and that's what you should focus on.

This is a clip of Tyrese when he was promoting his book, "How To Get Out Of Your Own Way." Here he mentioned about some the things I talked and gave the idea that women use men as "pet projects." Check it out below:

What Was I Thinking

Regrets are something people experience when things just slam down on rock bottom, but sometimes don't at it that way and instead see it has a reason.

Some people feel regretful when they have built up so much shame or didn't have any forgiveness to solve the problem. Others feel like there is no such thing as regrets because of the fact that they go by the saying, "Everything happens for a reason" which is true in most cases but does everything really happen for a reason? It really depends on the person, the situation, and how they view life. Some people can realize what they did or what someone else did and move on others feel embarrassed and would actually have done things a lot differently.

It is ok to feel regretful because that could mean that you really cared about the situation and want to fix it just so everybody can move on and forget about what happened. It is ok to feel any regret because you know everyone, including yourself makes mistakes and that's how we learn so therefore what is there to regret when if it didn't happened you would've not known what to do in the future. This kind of also goes back to my post about forgiveness because of the idea of how can a situation go before you can move on with ease. Regret is the same concept because how painful does something have to be in order for it to be true regret? You'll know when the situation hits you.

Female Proposals

So you finally popped the question and now he is showing all his friends the type of ring you gave him. That's right I said he, meaning his girlfriend proposed!

Some people might get a little bit iffy about women proposing to their man especially the most religious people. In the bible it says, "He who finds a wife, finds a good thing," and people take that to heart thoroughly. Therefore they feel that it is not necessary for women to propose to their boyfriends. Since the man is considered the aggressor he has to be the one to get down on one knee for his girl to become his wife. The funny thing is in this day in age, women constantly complain about a man's fear of commitment and how she dreams of a big wedding but for some reason he won't take the relationship to the next level.
On the other hand there are some men that don't mind a women proposing because it takes some of the pressure off of him. Some of you might think he is being a punk but I can see their point on this. It should be ok for women to take the initiative sometimes especially since they are in this relationship together. It seems like a bit more pressure for a man to propose because of the fact that he usually asks his girlfriend's father for her hand in marriage and that has to be intimidating. For a women it might a bit easier.
Halle Berry set a great example for a female taking charge on changing the status to her relationship. No, it didn't work out with her first husband, but she never gave up and now she just got married to the love of her life who is also the father of her soon-to-be-born son. Some people think her marriage didn't last because she proposed but I don't see what one has to do with the other. Things change and sometimes they fail.
This topic has so much controversy because of how society is and how they refer back to the bible. What is said in the bible is just to guide, what people do in their life is their business. I think it is ok for women to propose as long as their man is ok with it if they get on the topic of marriage. Like I said so many women complain about men not wanting to get married but sometimes the women should step in and make a move. The world just have to be more open minded.

Who Do You Rule, Better Yet, Who's Ruling You?

When you are out just doing your normal activities or whatever and you see a kid scream out of nowhere next to their parents do you ever think, "Does that kid control the home?"

I know some of you might not think that at all or feel like this is a dumb question, but there are some people that really question that. Most people think that a kid shouldn't be screaming and carrying on for no reason unless they are not getting the right discipline at home. A lot of the times it's because of the highly thin line between discipline and child abuse and people can easily confuse the two especially out in public.
The reality is that parents have the right to discipline their child and it's important to monitor their behavior. The usually perception is if the child is completely out of control without having any diagnosis of a mental dysfunction, then one might think that the child rules that household because the parent is either scared to spank their child because of authority or the parents themselves weren't raised around that type of discipline. It's different when the parent has been really tough on the child and it still didn't click because that might mean there is something wrong with child whether it's because they act out to get a certain type of attention or mental disabilities.
At one point society felt that kids were ruling the household more than ever, but a lot of it has to do with technology which I constantly talk about and have to mention because our lives revolved around it. Sometimes an incident is captured on tape or recorded or posted online and because of that someone can easily make accusations or assumptions about something. The media plays a big role in exploitation especially with all of these reality shows on. "Super Nanny" is a big example of what might go in different households. The kids are constantly misbehaving and disrespectful and are typically toddlers which is where most of the discipline should start. Instead a woman comes in to observe the situation and try to settle things in a way to get parents to understand that they set the rules, not the kids.
Even though there not necessarily a right or wrong way to run your household it has to be a way where it's consistent and productive. Kids have to learn some type of way it starts with the parents first. Eventually they have to explore and learn in the outside world, but it's up to the parent to prepare them.

Here are some clips of the Super Nanny:

Happy Birthday Nelson Mandela!

Nelson Mandela celebrates 95 years of life today.

He is currently celebrating his birthday in the Pretoria hospital where he has lamps from Soweto representing the segregation he went through during his times in jail. His past has been very controversial, known for serving time in prison for 27 years. It started with an arrest in 1962 for a sabotaging incident with the government. Then in 1994 his luck changed when he became President of South Africa, ending his term in 1999. During his presidency is earned over 250 awards and won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1993. What a success!
It's great that Mandela can continue to celebrate his achievements at such an age as himself. He should be very proud of his self for what he went through. He proves that at any age you have to fight to be happy as well as make a difference in others. His story has inspired many people and I'm sure as well as President Obama to keep rising and fight for what's right and not just because something is wrong. His spirit is going strong and hopefully we can expect more birthdays from him.

Up On Game

As if exploitation couldn't get anymore descriptive.

Urban website bossip.com just released details about a new book called, "Up On Game." Just like video vixen, Karrine Stephens', two books, "Confessions Of A Video Vixen," and "The Vixen Chronicles," this new book reveals the details of groupies and their experience with many ballers. Not only do some of the women explain what they did with certain athletes but also explains what a sex life is like for a type groupie. They go into graphic details about location, description of athlete, and even their skills! I know so many women are going rack up in Barnes & Nobles for this book.

As of what I've read. It's completely anonymous for both groupies and athletes. I'm not sure if the focus was only on athletes, but ballers were the only ones that were mentioned. It's funny because I did a post on male groupies and now females groupies are adding on to what Karrine Stephen's did in which I'm pretty sure will have the same details because she also was pretty graphic in her novel. You can read some excerpts on the bossip.com website with this url: http://bossip.com/804952/for-the-freaky-bookworms-new-groupie-tale-memoir-up-on-game-details-the-ins-and-outs-of-mistresses-side-pieces-that-bust-it-open-for-ballers-43081/.

Forgiveness

Sometimes you get so hurt by someone that you can't bear to look at them, but in the end you have to forgive.

Forgiveness is something that is just so complicated to overcome and rely on because of the level of pain. It's something that everyone has struggled with at some point in their life or is still struggling with right now. It's not to an easy thing to do, but it's important to understand your own happiness. There are certain situations where forgiveness can come a little bit easier than other situation because of how much trust you have in that person or knowing how to channel your anger.
For example is a partner cheats on you, some people might forgive either because they cheated one time or you might have kids together or the level of cheating wasn't too far. So someone could get over a situation like that. If it's a situation like what happened last week (Zimmerman trial) that's when you would question forgiveness the most. The most important thing to remember is you can forgive someone, but you won't forget.
With forgiving someone, especially if they are a complete stranger, when you forgive it is not because the problem is solved, its because it helps you move on and making yourself happy again. This can easily be misunderstood because it makes the situation look like the person who did the hurting can get away with whatever they are doing just because you let them go, but it has to looked at as not letting the situation get to you because you are a better person than. Of course forgiveness is not an overnight process, it takes an enormous amount of time to deal with, but as some people say, "Time heals all wounds."

So you may not forget about what happened, but if you forgive, you are just that much closer to having some sort of release.

Cory Monteith Update

At first Cory Monteith's death was a little bit mysterious because he died so suddenly, but now the story just keeps getting crazier.

Yesterday they coroner's did an autopsy report on Glee stars, Cory Monteith's body. According to USA Today, the results came back that he had heroin and alcohol in his system. This indicated that Monteth had a drug overdose due to his years of using mixed drugs since the age of 13. Investigators also felt that he had some slight evidence in his hotel room that would indicate that he was still using drugs that led to his death. At one point the 31-year-old did admit that he had been going to rehab for his substance addiction. Eventually he was on his way to making some recoveries.

Once again my prayers go out to his family and I'm sure there are going to be more updates on this tragic story.

When To Date....

Some people might question when is the right time to do a lot of things, but dating can be very debatable.

What most people might say the legal age is 16, others might say 18. It's funny because some people might say there is no right time, but obviously there is if someone is too young to do so. Every household is different so it's always up to the parents of what they think is the right time. It becomes even more crucial if you break down into the double standard aspects of it because some parents have different set of rules for their son vs. their daughter.

For most boys, it is not as harsh for them because they are the ones pursuing the girl. Most of the time they can stay out later and most of the time the parents know his friends so they don't monitor as much. With girls, there are more rules. They have to be home at a certain time, cut off his usually between 17-21 and she has to be aware that she is able to get pregnant so therefore quality time with a time is limited. Often times she could also be chaperoned.

After 21, parents are less crucial about either gender because the child should've matured enough to know what they want out of a person to handle their own dates. There are also parents that struggle with control and feel that their kid still needs more time whereas other parents push dating on them because of expectations in which I talked about like a month ago. Dating can be taken as controversial or self-explanatory. It's all in expectations.

R.I.P. Cory Monteith

Last night "Glee" lost a star that shined so bright in the limelight.

Canadian actor and singer, Cory Monteith, died suddenly last night in his hotel room. The cause of death is still unknown, but an autopsy will be due Mon, July 15. The Glee star was found unresponsive by one of the hotel staff members. When they discovered his body they ruled out a foul play. So many stars such as Kim Kardashian and Demi Lovato, tweeted their condolences on this tragic loss.
"Just learned of the death of Cory Monteith. So sad. Prayers for his family." -Kim Kardashian
"R.I.P. Cory Monteith. So unbelievably tragic." -Demi Lovato
Of the cast of Glee pour their hearts out to their fans about how shocked they were to learn of this incident saying " He was a true joy to work with and we will all miss him tremendously." Monteith started on Glee in 2009 as Finn Hudson. He auditioned in LA with videos he did of himself playing drums and was told he had to consider doing other areas of music such as singing. Singing wasn't necessarily his forte but gave it a shot by submitting another tape. He finally got the role of Finn who is a quarterback on the show. Monteith explained on the show that Finn is portrayed to be this dumb guy, but can make some sense of some things. The success of being Finn Hudson made the actor a regular on the show.

At one point, Monteith began a relationship with his American co-star, Lea Michelle. During the times together, he admitted to needing some special treatment due to his substance abuse addictions starting at age 19. It seem like this guy had so much going for him and now it is so sad to learn of his passing. He had so much progress and it's a shame that his death is a mystery for right now. Hopefully he didn't have any threats or pressure that caused all of this but my prayers out to his family and friends.

R.I.P. Cory Monteith.

Is This Really What It Comes Down To?....

Obviously everyone, or at least most of you heard the news last night about this trial and how this outcome effects the nation.

It is so devastating that the justice system is set up the way it is. I can't believe the results. George Zimmerman was actually proven not guilty for killing and should I type again killing an unarmed teenage boy, pretty much for no reason. I usually don't talk about topics on here that deals with race, but it looks like I have to with this one. It's a shame that young kids of color can't even walk down the street whether it's in broad daylight or not and feel like everything is ok or they can easily walk back home. There were so many proofs that Trayvon Martin was harmless, but yet had to be killed.

I swear, this world has no peace what so ever. We are not living back in the 1950s and even then these kinds of incidents shouldn't be happening to begin with. I don't understand why someone like him have to get away with murdering an innocent teen. Could someone answer me that question. I mean there is no way he can really live in peace because at some point it will definitely catch up to him. Most people think that he got off because of his father being a judge himself so therefore he has connection and sadly it worked.

We can not give up on this boy because his justice must be served. There is no way we have to put this to the side and move on just because the trial is over. Trayvon deserves more peace!

Here's youtube guru Angry Grandpa's reaction to the case:

No More Love Letters

If you are an active reader on my blog or just took a peek or two at it, you'll noticed that I have written multiple post about social media and different ways to communicate due to technology, but the the topic of technology might have you thinking, "When's the last time you wrote a letter!?"

Now I'm not necessarily talking about just love letters, but also letters in general. It really has been a while. I'm surprise there are still mailboxes, lol, but it goes to show how much things have changed with how we reach out to people. Everything is done online or through your phone which can go into the category of being online because phones are pretty much portable computers themselves. It makes me wonder if like we had a day where everyone in the world can just write one letter to whoever they want, would they still like it, or do they find it boring, or would they reject because they feel like it's a waste of time? I can't remember the last time I wrote one, but it is a bit easier to just e-mail.
Especially with so many sources of social networking, letters are just pretty much no point. Even as a kid, it was considered really cute to just pass notes saying "Will you go out with me?" or leaving a note by someone's locker expressing your crush on them. but now people barely leave notes. Either just look them up or text them. Even when you are talking to someone in person they'll say "Just text me" or "Just e-mail" and you could be sitting there like I'm standing right in front of you, which brings on anther note: "Is it more effective to just text someone?
I've mentioned before that a lot of people don't like face-to-face communication and that they would rather not speak or just talk through Internet or phone. Some people might see this as a punk move that they just too afraid of someone's reaction or facial expression, but others could feel like that's just the way they are and technology was just an easier way to deal with their communications. However you see it there is really no answer to is technology is really the blame for less face-to-face communication especially if you are in a long-term relationship. The amount of consumption is can sometimes even overshadow the most talkative person in the world.

Crying In A Relationship

Sensitivity is one of those things where it can occur at any moment especially for women, but is it necessarily healthy or acceptable to be in a relationship?

If you had viewed my blog about a month ago you'll noticed that I did a post about emotions and how they affect a person's thoughts and behaviors. Sometimes we get so caught up in them that we don't realize how it effects our surroundings. One of the biggest triggers with the sensitivity aspect of emotions is crying. Crying always creates a debate especially between men and women because crying indicates a sign of either a breaking point or overwhelming joy. Crying is one of those things where it always questions a person's stability because it brings out our vulnerable side but when to show it, besides the obviously, is where it might  get complicated.
I hear complaints all the time from guys about their women or just women in general crying all the time. It seems crying is the root to all problems when ironically we cry when we are going through a problem. It's always a critical thing for a man to cry in a relationship as well as in general because they have to put on this portrayal that they are tough so they can protect their families and loved ones. In society, crying is often associated with weakness because it makes it look like you can't handle things or you are giving up your power. People might even say that crying should only be allowed on babies, not grown people unless someone in the family dies, that's it. This where society needs a reality check.Women are very emotional people so it's very expected for her to cry at some point, but most men hate that and that brings on so many complications. Most of the time they just don't know what to do when they witness tears because it makes him look like he's not doing anything right. Sometimes the girl just reaches her boiling point and just wants to talk it out with her partner. Listening is very attractive to a lot of women, but the guy in the relationship just wants to fix the problem, but what most girls do is just for him to listen and give her support. It then creates a cycle of miscommunication and disconnect. It is important to know where both people stand as far as emotions.
It's weird how something as simple as crying can be considered controversial when it's not that serious. I think it's ok for both men and women to cry whenever they feel helpless. Sometimes crying helps you let go of all the pain that you have been holding in because it's a type of release. It's a shame that most men and women wouldn't allow their partner to cry in front of them because it's considered weak or punkish. Having vulnerability can be a sign of trust and if your partner is willing to feel that way, showing support is the best medicine. Some people don't view it that way either because they came from a family that didn't allow any crying, or they are just not a sensitive person in general. It's ok to ask your partner if they are ok with sensitivity. I know that sounds absolutely silly to ask someone, but in this day in age there are so many things in this world that you would think to be common sense not to ask or do, but you have to ask anyway.

Remember, if you have a partner that feels the need to cry, show them support. If you don't accept crying let them know and come to a compromise. I know I've said this before, but I have to it again because the most important thing to be concerned about is health.

Jenner-West Dispute

Looks like there are some more madness in the Jenner House because baby Nori seems to become too famous.

Earlier, Power 105.1 reported that Kanye West had a fit when proud momager, Kris Jenner, wanted to post some pics of his brand new daughter on the Today Show. Being that this incident happened, there is tension between the two. The problem was according to RadarOnline, Jenner promised Today Show Anchor, Matt Lauer, that she would bring in a pic of her granddaughter and when Kanye found that out he was so upset. West already didn't want the media smothering his daughter for shots of her so when he was notified of Jenner's actions he felt disrespected.
I don't know what to make of this because I understand why Kanye is upset, but being that he is a big time and now has a child with a huge socialite it is expected that pictures are going to swirling around people are going to sneak some snapshots of his baby. At the same time, Jenner is known for what people might is being a overbearing parent because she is both a manager and a mother. People would definitely expect her to pull a trick like that if it was even a trick. She is also expected to reveal a pic of her new grand baby on her show so I wouldn't be too hype but people should know eventually there will be pictures in the future for everyone to see just like Blue Ivy.

Do you think Kanye was overreacting? Do you think Kris was showing pictures behind Kanye's back?

New Album-Ciara

Ciara's coming out strong with her new self-titled album.

Ciara made an appearance Power 105.1 yesterday as well as 106 & Park promoting some of her new singles off of the album. I was listening to Power 105.1 when she was on and her album is so dope. I was really impressed by some of her songs. I would recommend for people to go out and get her album because her tracks are really good. I noticed that her tracks have like a fun, clubby-type sound to it which really suits her energetic dance talent. She stated on Power 105.1 that wanted to really reach out to the fans letting people know who she is as a person on this album and she did just that.
Some of my favorites were, "Super Turnt Up," and "Overdose." They both had an edgy vibe to it which was really good and I can picture singing with that type of style. Of course what's also featured on the album are "Body Party," and "I'm Out" featuring Nicki. On 106 & Park she performed "Livin It Up," which is also has an edgy-club sound to it as well. If you are a big Ciara fan make sure you check out those videos as well as getting her album because she is definitely turnt up for it!

New Video By Mario Ft. Nicki Minaj

So excited that Mario is back with brand new music and video.

Yesterday R&B singer, Mario, released the video to his hit single, "Somebody Else," featuring Nicki Minaj. The video wasn't what I expected, but I still like it. The song will be featured on Mario's fifth studio album, "Restoration," that is set to be released in late 2013. The video was shot two months ago and directed by Alexandre Moors. It has quite a dark imagery to it because it suppose to be very expressive. A lot of comments were made about the expression of betrayal when Nicki pushed him out the window which explains the glass shatter effect. It's pretty cool effect once you look at the video if you haven't yet.
I've been waiting on Mario to come out with some new music because I have always been a fan of his ever since he first came out. He has shown s much growth it's hard to believe that his first song, "Just A Friend 2000" came out 13 years ago! His music has really made some progress as well. He also knows when to put maturity in it to make it fresh and difference. I admire his artistry and him as a person. Necolebitchie.com first aired his behind-the-scenes about a month ago and I was excited because I've always like the song and now the video is here. Great job Mario and Nicki!

If you haven't seen it check out the video below and comment what you think on it.

Kevin And Dani Jonas' New Addition

Looks like these two finally got their wish of having a family because it's coming true soon!

The news broke out everywhere yesterday that Kevin Jonas and his wife Danielle are expecting their first child. The couple has mentioned and their show that had wanted a family but was waiting until the time was right. Looks like the time is now. E! News confirmed it when they spoke to Kevin about his reactions, "I was overjoyed, it's been the most exciting thing in my life so far!" said Kevin.        Just last year Kevin and Dani started their reality show, "Married To Jonas," where their fans got to witness how they lived in their daily lives with Dani being married to a superstar. The couple showed their ups and down points that everybody goes through especially when you are an entertainer. Yesterday the couple finally announced their pregnancy when Kevin tweeted about his wife being pregnant. How great is that for them. Fellow E! Wiz Khalifa And Amber Rose Make It Official!

This happy couple above just put another title to their life!

Rapper Wiz Khalifa and socialite, Amber Rose have been confirmed that they are married. The news broke out when bossip.com and mediatakeout.com retrieved tweets from Amber herself yesterday saying how proud she is to be a mom and a wife! The couple is not going to have their ceremony until the fall. They went to the Justice of the Peace to initiate their union. "Me and Amber got married today," said Khalifa in a tweet he put yesterday. The couple first started stating in early 2011 and then became engaged March 1, 2012 when Amber tweeted about her excitement.

Khalifa is a successful rapper, Amber's a successful model, they had a son, and now they tied the knot all a matter of two years. It's great to see them happy and share their blessings to their fans and family.

Big congrats to them and best of luck!

New Music By Chris Voice Of Hamilton Park

As you all know Hamilton Park has been working very hard lately and now Chris Voice has released a few tracks himself.

Chris put out some songs on the site soundcloud.com which is where you can also follow him at. Some of records include, "She Kno What It Iz," "Whatsup," "Body," "Dope Summer," and his version of "Diced Pineapples." I couldn't seem to play the songs, but I always have faith in him that they sound really good. He hasn't let me down at all and never will. I can't wait to see what's next to come. Make sure you go onto soundcloud.com to check out him as well as Hamilton Park's other works of what they have done so far.
Make sure you also listen to his single with LBronze called, "Squirter" in which I also have as one of posts. Chris is definitely a huge talent in the music industry. Him and his boys should be very proud of themselves. Make sure you follow these guys on twitter @hamilton_park. I know it's silly of me to not announce that since I don't have twitter, but at least I'm a strong support for these guys and it only gets stronger from here, but again go onto soundcloud.com and look up Chris Voice to check out his music and also look up Hamilton Park on youtube. Happy Listening!

Update: I finally heard the songs and Chris is the man! Wow, love him! Keep up the good work.

Is There Such Thing As Too Much Comfort?

Sometimes you get to that point in your life where you guys just say whatever and just handle your business in front of each other.

There are certain things people feel like there should be some do's and don'ts that some couples might consider. One thing that starts the comfort levels in farting. Usually it's more of an embarrass when the girl does it more so than the guy because some females think it's not ladylike. First off, it doesn't really have anything to do with etiquette because everyone does it and if your partner doesn't understand that then they don't need to be with you. So a person might ask when is it ok to fart in front of each other?
This can be taken many ways. Some couples find that farting can playful because it might sound funny to them or they are just being silly and use it as a method of foreplay. Other couples might find farting in front of each other to weird and nasty so it's best to be discrete. Other couples also find that farting can show that you trust the person enough to just let it out since you can't hold them in forever and if your partner's right there then you don't care that it might have an odor or not.
Now going to the bathroom in front of each other maybe a little bit different because you can see what's coming out and some couples actually talk to each other as they are using the bathroom. There are many couples that have no problem with this comfort level at all because think about it. You live together and no each other very well, most likely the two of you work in the morning so you both have to get ready at the same time, you both need to use the bathroom so why not just let it all out. Some couples see this as a bonding tactic because you are at your most vulnerable state of privacy that you are sharing with one another with also shows a sign of trust to your partner so it's not like they are witnessing anything new. Other couples might be like h*** no. One doesn't want to walk in and smell the other's insides even if they have to get something really quick. It could be too much see or too much to smell.
Now majority of guys often deal with their girl having no make-up on before they go to bed. Some people see this as crossing a comfortability level because of the fact that she finally revealed herself. Some guys take it as weird because that means it has to wake up next to a different face and the fact he now looks at her differently because it wasn't what he fell in love with. I think girls be able to take off their make up in front of them because it's already not healthy for us to leave it on when we go to sleep, but to some guys especially when you guys are in the mood it might need to stay on.

There so many other things that might question a comfort level with a couple. Comfortablility always depends on the couples because it ties into your vulnerability. People should know there is no right or wrong time to let yourself go to your partner. As long as there's respect, compromise, and trust.

Can A Child Go Mobile?

I was talking with some people and we got on the topic of kids and technology and it got me thinking, when can someone start getting a cell phone?

I have talked about technology multiple times in some of my posts and I have mentioned how technology is just taking over the world literally but now it's to the point where kids as young as kindergarten are getting cell phones. We also discussed this in one of my classes as well because some of my classmates were saying how it's crazy that 1st graders are getting cell phones when they don't really need them that much. Some people say that young kids should have them only for emergencies which is understandable but does it also make it necessary?

Most parents also buy their kids ipads mainly to play games on it because it's pretty much like a flat computer and at least it's very mobile. The same can apply with cell phones but once there are phone numbers in it, it's like who are really going to call lol! With ipods a kid can use it for music because I'm sure every kid loves music. Most people are not necessarily shocked about kids having any other gadgets that I mentioned it's more so the phones. When people think of cell phones they think of calls and texting mostly which is why when they hear a little kid having one they are like," they don't know how to text yet, they don't even know what that means," and that maybe true, but kids are really smart they know how to figure things out, they just have to be monitored not to press the wrong thing or call a mysterious number.

It's hard to know when someone should start getting cell phones because it really depends on the parents of the child. Cell phones should be used in case of an emergency if a kid has one but the question of should they be allowed to have one is where I'm unsure. I can understand the ipad and ipod for the reasons I mentioned before music, games, etc. There are so many apps for kids to have fun with including educational ones. So yes, technology may be consuming our lives especially with young children but it's not like it is going to stop!

Movie Review-The Heat

Those two ladies up there really know how to track down a bad boy when they see one!

As you all know the movie, "The Heat," starring Melissa McCarthy and Sandra Bullock, came out a couple weeks ago on June 28th. I must say I really enjoyed it! The two of them together were hilarious and made themselves out to be some really impressive cops. There were a few other stars in there that I didn't expect but I'm not going to say who, but it made the movie interesting. I would like send a big shoutout to Spoken Reasons, he did a great job in it as well. I felt like I was watching one his youtube videos because it was like he playing as his usually silly self.
I would definitely recommend a friend to go see this because the movie had some quite good action in it. For some reason I can kind of see these girls being real cops but it probably wouldn't be done the normal way. There were also moments that were also sympathetic and cute and then they would switch it around and make it funny or just crazy. Go see it at any theater near you and make sure you get a good laugh in. Also make sure you check out some of Spoken Reasons videos on youtube and see some of the crazy work he has done.

Back To Old Address

As you all may have noticed I went back to my old address. Apparently people haven't been reading my announcements that I have been posting up for the past like three days so I'm sticking to this one since everyone seems to like this address. So again I'm not going anywhere, I'm still going to have more topics in store for you all to hopefully enjoy. Stay safe out there.

Being Stuck In The Middle

In honor of Hamilton Park's new single, "Catch 22," it brought on an idea of situations that we get caught up in because we don't know what to do.

Being stuck in the middle of a sticky situation is so difficult because we don't want to hurt the other person's feelings. Everyone most likely has went through it at some point of their lives and never knew how to get out. Some people are just people pleasers to begin with instead of having some sort of selfish tendencies to benefit themselves. So what do we do when we get caught up, well we let the other parties handle it.
This happens a lot with love triangles because sometimes we can fall hard for two people at once. There are certain qualities that the other people have that sometimes is not in each other so therefore the person in the middle strings both of them along for the ride. They don't realize that they are sometimes the cause of putting themselves in the middle because they are not being honest with themselves in the first place. Knowing what you want is the first step in any situation so in order to not be in the middle, you have to be in the beginning. I know it's very hard to do but something's gotta give.
Sometimes we also get up in the middle because we could be mediators for our friends or family. You could be the type that is passive or a peacemaker so then people call on you to try to work things out with each other. The problem with that is if it doesn't work out then it still falls back on you. Now you just want to throw your hands in the air because you are so through. Sometimes it's best to let others be so you can get yourself together. They might call you selfish but sometimes we have to be especially if we want guidance in the future when we run into another problem.

So this 4th of July weekend let's all not always get stuck in the middle and just live!

Instagram Outshining Vine

It's funny because I was just talking about how twitter seems to be outdoing Facebook but lately some people have been talking about the competition between instagram and vine.

When people were finally getting the feel of twitter and promoting things on it, instagram took over. People and even the media became obsessed with just posting pictures and leaving comments on it. It's a great way to share your moments and your passions about something. It was so popular that people would promote everything on instagram and then just share about it on twitter and facebook or any other social networking sites.
Then along came vine. This is the site where you make 7 sec videos and post them on twitter. You can do skits, how to cooking videos, a show, etc. It's linked to twitter so it was easier to share your videos. Then just recently instagram upgraded itself to posting videos on there which pushed vine to the side a bit. i don't know how long instagram videos go up to but it's longer than vine. So then it brings on the question on which site do people prefer. If I had to guess it would have to be instagram because you can do picture and videos and the videos are longer.

I'm pretty sure there are going to be more social networking sites that will be the exact same thing as the old ones just a different name. It's funny because everything has the same features so it's almost like what's the point of outshining another site. We will just see.

How Do You Know When Things Are Official?

You know how you could be with someone or you are talking to somebody and then you get so many mix signals and then you have to think to yourself, "Are we together?"

Yup, this happens all the time. People always get caught up with someone without really talking it out with them to see if you guys are on the same page. Relationships can be very tricky and sometimes a little scary. It is important for people to understand each other so that way they don't look stupid if they notice the other person is not checking for them anymore. It is very hard sometimes to really know where you guys stand because one person might think they are with that person but in reality they are just getting played.

So how do you know?

There is no real answer to this because this is matter of knowing what you want and feeling out the other person. They say when a guy makes it official when he introduces his partner to his family and friends whereas a girl can claim a guy without even getting to know him because she grew feelings for him. People usually know when things are getting really serious especially when the both of you have something in common and have some sort of compatibility. Consistency also has to be a real factor with making things official because if that person didn't really want you they would make excuses to not want to see you again or they act funny around when they are with their friends or they just don't communicate with you. People should always talk it out.

Most of the time the girls try to make guys make a relationship official by sleeping with them thinking the guy will stay. It is important to know that yes, sometimes it could work out, but there is no guarantee it will last. Most girls feel like if she is good at what she does it will distract him from other females when it's not all the way true. What always ends up happening is the dude just looks at her as an easy target and then leaves. There is a saying goes "Women give sex to get love and men give love to get sex," and it was very interesting when I heard it because it's true. At the same time like I said it depends on the two people. There are couples that have been successfully together for a long time after sleeping with each other on the first date just like there are couples that waited but are not together. The important thing is you have to know that it is claimed.

Once there is claim, then mostly likely you guys hold a title and whatever you do with it you have to maintain.

Happy 4th Of July

It's July 4th so therefore Happy Independence Day!

I hope everyone is having the time of their life at BBQs and partying like rock stars until the night is over. It's nice to just eat and chill and watch the fireworks do their things in the sky as we celebrate this national holiday. I know for a lot of people it doesn't seem like a big deal to make this day a big deal, but at least you get the day off from work or give you more of an excuse to party some more. When you are a little kid, if you weren't afraid of loud noises it was so cool to watch the fireworks explode and see the bright colors. As you get older you just look forward to the cookouts. The fireworks are really nice when you are like on a date with someone and it could give you guys an excuse to cuddle especially if it's nice out.

I hope everyone is out there being safe and being happy.

Movie Review-Let Me Explain

I swear Kevin Hart is the man because he was shutting it down in his new movie for real!

Of course Kevin Hart's new film, "Let Me Explain," came out yesterday and can I just say this dude is crazy on so many good levels. I'm not going to say the movie but I'm just going to give my insight on it. I really enjoyed myself today. Kevin Hart has really come a long way. Most people started noticing him in some movies when he would just be a silly little thing just making people chuckle a bit. Now he is really coming into his own with everything he does. I just love that he can just make his own self laugh and be hysterical because he is a true person so just got things to say all the time.

The only thing was that it felt like the film was too short. I don't know if it was because I was laughing so hard that time went by fast or he didn't have much to say because it really felt shortened. I still had a good time. It was my first time at a dine-in theater which was a good idea to go to because to enjoy food and have a good laugh is just the best. At the same time I felt like "Laugh At My Pain" was a lot longer, but it was still hilarious. I hope Kevin makes more of these documentary stand ups because I'm going to go to everyone of them!

The clip above was one of the jokes that he did that was about pigeons. If you are the type that would rather see  it in theaters, don't press the clip, but it you don't care, enjoy and happy laughing, lol!
